Q & A

Q. How does the lighted feature of this RS237L function? A. When the light fixture(s) the switch is powering is OFF, the switch has an internal lighted feature that will glow. This will make it easy to find the switch in the dark. These are commonly installed in closets, pantries, etc. Q. I installed this switch, and now the lights in my room are stuck on. What should I do? A. There may be an issue with the block wire terminal to your switch. Touch the block wire and common wire and that should turn your relay off. Then double check your wiring to insure everything is correct. Q. Can this lighted GE switch function as 3 way switches for low voltage lights? A. Yes, any low voltage switch can be wired as a 3 way switch. You will wire the switch in parallel to the relay it is controlling. So for that reason, you could have an unlimited number of switches controlling the same light. The relay just responds when receiving a signal from the switch.
