What a great idea made a switch plate that holds the switches, if you have 30 yr old GE low voltage lighting and it's all screwed up these are the people to look up.

Super Switche Plates

Love the look and feel of the new style switch plates. No brackets to deal with and much better looking tan my outdated 45 year old ones. Now I just have to order for the entire house.

Looks good, easy to use

If you're replacing your old residential low-voltage switches with newer snap-in style ones, this switchplate is essential. Maybe not _absolutely_ essential -- you could possibly make your own, or use institutional-style panels. But for the average homeowner, needing to replace older switches, they're your best bet.

Somehow, I missed the "enamel finish on steel" note in the description. I expected plastic like most switchplates. This didn't affect installation or performance, so no real problem.

Installation is easy. The new switches snap in with no trouble. Be extra careful with the screwdriver when installing: if you slip, you could possibly scratch the paint deeply enough to reveal the metal underneath.
