Product Description

General Electric low voltage 8 switch frame panel. Used for ganging 8 GE low voltage switches (sold separately). A key-operated lock-out switch mounted in the frame may be used to electrically deactivate any or all of the switches in the panel. Unit comes ready to assemble and is a direct replacement part for older General Electric multi-position selector panels. Note, GE currently only manufactures this RMP2-35 remote control master station wallplate as 8 switch panels. 10 or 12 switch panels are not available.

  • brushed aluminum finish with black and chrome trim
  • 4.88" square plate with two 3.69" x 1.28" openings
  • top to bottom screw holes are 3.48" apart
  • two lower screw holes are 4.05" center to center
  • anodized aluminum frame on zinc diecast base
  • includes frame, one 1-1/4" RK1 key, "S" shaped mounting bracket, three 3/4" screws and installation instructions for quick assembly
  • built-in frame mounted locking switch
  • mounts onto 4-11/16" square electrical box or directly on wall surface
  • cannot be mounted on 4" square outlet box
  • replaces GE RMS-2A 9-position switch panel and GE RMS-4A 12 switch selector plate
  • note that when replacing the RMS2A RMS4A there will only be room for 8 switches, so may need to control combine areas
  • replaces the RMC2, RMC9, and the pilot lighted RMC2PL, RMC9PL that used the old RCS switches (use the new RS2 series switches)
  • may be used with RS 2 and RA 2 series switches
  • manufactured in US by General Electric
  • alternately use the 12 Switch New Low Voltage Wall Plate
