Wide Half Short 1 Rocker Wall Plate Cover for Decora Switch or Outlet - Offset by 3/16" Inch
Trying to find a short trim plate with extra coverage on either side of an electrical box installed too close on the top or bottom to cabinetry, solid surface countertops, or tiles or moulding? This double-gang short 1-rocker switch plate still covers your electrical box with an installed decorator rocker switch, GFCI outlet receptacle, or sliding dimmer and hides gaps in drywall or tiling on either side. These short wide rocker switchplate covers about 3/16" shorter than a standard 4.5" plate and are the perfect solution when working in tight spaces.
Will it fit? Measure from the center of the electrical screw holding the device in the box to the edge of the obstruction. If it is 7/16" (11.1mm) or more, the plate will fit.

- distance from screw hole to short side edge of plate: 7/16" (11.1mm) and 3/4" (1.9mm) on longer end - note these are box mounting screw holes** (3-9/32" on centers)
- distance from top of the Decora opening to edge of plate is 13/16" on short end and 1-3/32" on longer end
- distance from side edges of Decora opening to edges of plate is 1-13/16"
**Installation Note: The screw holes are set at box mount spacing (3.281") instead of standard strap mount spacing (3.812") because of the trimmed off edge. To install, use the same screws to go through both the plate and the electrical device directly into the box.
