Low Voltage GE 1 Switch Surface Mounted Wallplate Units - Ivory
This set includes necessary items to replace a vintage General Electric RA13 base and RFS6 low voltage switch: 1 switch, ivory cover plate, raised extender ring and installation screws. (Buy separate mounting anchors for your surface material if included screws don't work for your specific situation.)
Switch is intended to sit above wall surface. Snap included RS2-32 low voltage replacement switch into the new cover from the front. Place cover on top of extender ring and mount to wall after wiring into place. Note that the connectors on the back of the switch must be bent to fit inside extender ring (see additional photos).
GE HAS DISCONTINUED THE SWITCHES. WE RECOMMEND THE TRIGGER SWITCHES AND DESPARD PLATES AS AN ALTERNATIVE.
