Large Doorbell Cover 7.5" for Nutone Intercom Box 4.5" Screws

Switchplate was easy to order and arrived promptly. Covering an old NuTone front doorbell/intercom installed when the house was built in 1979. Only issue in placing the Ring was position of the center hole. It needs to be maybe at 3/4th rather than at 1/2 the plates height. I haven’t checked for that product. I was able to screw down the Ring’s wire connectors making a smooth fit. It also would be cool if the plate came pre-drilled for a Ring!

We had purchased the ring door bell, and when we went to remove the old NuTone intercom system, we did not realize that no one local sells a cover plate to cover such a large hole! Came across this site, with others who had the same issue, and was very pleased when it arrived. It was a little bit larger than expected, but fit perfectly. Had to put the ring doorbell off center, as the screw holes matched up with the screw holes for the cover plate. Overall very pleased, and would highly recommend. Shipping was very fast.

Perfectly hides the large hole from our old intercom system. Put a simple doorbell button in the middle. I do wish it had a more "decorative" look, but gets the job done!!!
