What size drill bit is needed to attach a Ring 2 to this type of plate? Thanks--STAFF: Generally, the camera doorbells include a drill bit that will fit their mounting hardware. We recommend measuring the width of the screws provided by your doorbell manufacturer.

I combed the internet looking for ways to cover an ugly broken intercom in the front of my house. After several unsuccessful more fancy attempts to cover up the hole I got to the point of giving up and accepting that there was no way, short of some custom $100 time consuming option, that I was going to achieve a quality look that I was hoping for. On top of that I was going to lose out on my new Ring doorbell as I would have to drill into brick! That’s when my wife suggested I Google search using a separate set of key words and boom! I put the plate up, inserted a screw, and stepped back...it worked! It looked good! I couldn’t believe it.
