Extra Large Jumbo Outlet Cover Plates 6.38" Tall

I installed wainscoting a while back in my foyer and dining room. I cut holes that were a little too large and they looked really poor. These jumbo outlet cover plates are very high-quality and got the job done. My only gripe is that I wish they were cheaper. At $13-$15/cover plate, they are definitely VERY expensive. But, they are an investment in a good finished project.

I found these oversized switch plates after we had faced the walls with ship lap and needed to cover up our mistakes in measuring. These worked great and look fantastic. They are not cheap plastic either! And made in the USA!

Totally covered the mess a DIYer created with backsplash tile.

Yes, compared to a plastic outlet cover at a hardware store, these are more $$, substantially more $$. But it you have a hole, and drywall patching is not possible, this is a God send. Also, we have a mix of standard hardware store plate covers and these metal covers in the same room. The color is spot on. These were for a room specifically for my wife, so aesthetics were a big deal. There have been other remodeling projects where she let me know right away when things did not look OK. Also, as far as fit, the standard screws and hole line up just like you want.

I had an outlet that had some damage around it from fishing a wire. Other “jumbo” cover plates were not big enough to cover the damage.

This one did so nicely.

My only complaint is the price. With shipping it was expensive for what it is. Otherwise I’m very happy. STAFF: We’re glad you are pleased and apologize that these low volume specialty plates are more expensive to manufacture.

It was either replace the island or find a plate that would cover the hole. This plate fit the bill. Its big, but doesn't look bad. My only preference would have been to go with plastic vs. metal. I know that is a whole different ball game so overall very happy with it.

The plate came quickly and is of excellent quality. I made a mistake cutting an outlet hole in pvc vinyl sheet goods and the jumbo plate is perfect. My only other comment would be that it would be nice to get it in white plastic to match the outlets I didn’t mess up.
