Q & A
Can I plug in a 20A appliance?
Not in this socket because this combination switch outlet has only has a 15A receptacle on it. But the GFCI circuitry has a 20A feed-through rating, so if it's wired on a 20A circuit, you can wire 20A devices downstream of it, and have them be completely protected.
