Change any Decora rocker opening to a single toggle opening in a light switchplate with this exclusive insert. This metal adapter insert can be used while keeping your current switch plate. Allows you the flexibility to have a jumbo cover plate or other hard-to-find configuration. Kyle Switch Plates custom design item.
Features
- 4-1/16" tall x 1-3/4" wide with one toggle opening in center
- .03" steel strap; baked white enamel finish that matches our white metal covers
- insert only - light switch wall plate not included
- middle set of screw holes for mounting to box (3-9/32" spacing) through device holes
- outer set of screw holes have 3-13/16" spacing center to center (strap/block/interchangeable mounting - outer set in photo)
Installation
- turn off power to electrical box
- remove your switch plate, remove screws from device the strap will cover
- place insert over switch and install using the device screws
- place your switchplate over insert and screw into place using your current switch plate screws
- do not over-tighten screws to avoid stripping threads
- may be stacked side by side on multiple-gang light switch covers
