Buy a round simplex receptacle cover plate that mounts single round outlets in 4" round electrical boxes on ceilings. If you have a round or octagon box with odd screw hole spacing and need to install a simplex outlet, this is the correct mounting bracket. Also acts as cover plate, or add a round outlet cover for an additional 1" of wall coverage.
