What is the finish on these antique brass wall switchplate covers?
These timeless decorative switchplates are formed from heavy .040" solid brass, U.S. Bureau Standards Symbol #10B, with an antiqued relieved rich finish that has been lacquered to help prevent oxidation. Clean with dusting spray using a soft cloth. Avoid contact with cleansers, chlorine, or alcohol-based products like perfumes or hand sanitizers. Note: There can be some color variation between production batches. Since plates don't usually sit side by side, and lighting can effect the look of the finish, you most likely won't notice any variations once plates are installed.
