My daughter redid her bathroom. She had three gang switch which when I pulled the old plate off it was obvious the person that cut the box in was a little over zealous. She went to four different big box stores could not find a plate to cover. I went on line and found one at Kyle and it covers great. The dimensions of the plate is exactly what I got!
I prefer these oversized light plate covers. The 3-gang configuration fits perfectly over my switch install and the metal plate provides a nice custom look.
Nice quality item. I like that it is metal. It is paintable. The price with shipping is very reasonable. It really doesn't look "oversize" either. The perfect solution for my problem, a triple gang box cut-out made on the wrong side of the layout line with a 1/2" router - woops.
The cutout for my switches was too big and instead of having to patch it up or try and fix it somehow, I bought this and it covered the entire mess up and looks great. I also kind of like that its metal and not plastic. Saved me $$ and time to fix my stupid mistake.
Dealing with previous owners "improvements" is always fun. Like who knew a 3 gang box existed? Nah, we'll crush 3 single gang boxes together. Well, the rather large hole this caused was easily corrected with this switch plate. Now our bathroom has a finished look. Product is excellent quality, arrived from across the continent in good time and is a solution that is not easily found anywhere else.
