Q & A

Will I need narrow electrical boxes to go with these narrow outlet covers?
No. Standard electrical wall boxes are 2" wide and are typically set into the Sheetrock, paneling, or plaster. Narrow outlet plates are typically necessary when there are obstructions (cabinetry, moulding, tiles, etc.) butting up against the electric box or slightly covering it. The narrow outlet plates will fit into the tight space between obstructions to cover the rest of exposed part of the box. Consult an electrician regarding codes for your installation.

    Perfect fit!

  2. Great product, good quality, a little pricey 4 Star Review

I had previously been using an outlet cover from another manufacturer that was thin but did not have the same finish choices. The Kyle plates are nice and the finishes are great. My only complaint is the price is a bit steep. I will be suggesting these for use with a product that out company makes, but I suspect that most customers will choose not to buy at this price point.
